Question Answer Relationships (QAR) Directions: Please answer the four questions using the QAR strategy. 4 QAR's

  1. Right there: the answer is in the text.
  2. Think and search: the answer is in the text, but you might have to look for it in different places. The answer is not straight forward.
  3. Author and you: the answer is not in the text. You have to simply take what you have learned from the assigned reading and what you already know prior to reading to answer this question.
  4. On my own: the answer is not in the text. The assigned reading will not help you figure out the answer. You have to apply what you know with the question. The answer is within yourself.
